Vorschau: Das 29. Internationale Filmfest Oldenburg – Tribute an Andrea Rau und weitere Filme

Nach der Retrospektive hat das Internationale Filmfest Oldenburg nun auch sein Tribute bekannt gegeben.

Es gilt der Schauspielerin Andrea Rau, einer der drei Hauptdarstellerinnen eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsfilme: „Blut an den Lippen“ von Harry Kümel. Wie sehr mir dieses Wunderwerk des Vampirfilms am Herzen liegt, kann man hier nachlesen. Kein Wunder also, dass ich mich über dieses Tribute ganz besonders freue.

Andrea Rau wird vom 14. bis zum 18. September zu Gast in Oldenburg sein. Im Rahmen des Tribut werden folgende Filme gezeigt:

Auch die weiteren Filme des Festivalprogramms wurden bekannt gegeben.
Da bisher leider nur die Titel, Länder und Filmemacher genannt wurden und sonst noch keine Infos vorliegen, habe ich mal selber in der IMDb recherchiert und – wo vorhanden – den Inhalt herausgesucht.

Ramona, Spanien 2022, Andrea Bagney (Deutschlandpremiere) – Ramona met her boyfriend while she was in a chance encounter. Soon she finds out that he’s the director of a film in which she is vying for a lead role. This made Romana questioning herself and her cosy life with her boyfriend.

Rodeo, Frankreich 2022, Lola Quivoron (Internationale Premiere) – Drama – Julia -a young misfit who is passionate about riding- meets a crew of dirt riders who fly along at full speed and perform stunts. She sets about infiltrating their male-dominated world, but an accident jeopardises her ability to fit in.

Echo, Deutschland 2022, Mareike Wegener – Drama – Detective Harder takes on her first case after surviving a bomb attack during a police training mission in Afghanistan. The remains of a girl are discovered in a moor near the small German town of Friedland. But Harder’s investigation falters from the outset – not least due to the discovery of a live bomb dating to the Second World War, which throws the Friedlanders and Harder herself into turmoil.

Paradise Highway, USA 2022, Anna Gutto (Deutschlandpremiere) – A truck driver has been forced to smuggle illicit cargo to save her brother from a deadly prison gang. A Woman, Frankreich 2022, Jean-Paul Civeyrac (Deutschlandpremiere) – Drama, Follows Juliane Deroux, a police superintendent of great moral integrity, but she begins to carry out acts of which she would never have believed herself capable after discovering her husband is leading a double life. – Mit Sophie Marceau.

The Gravity, Frankreich 2022, Cédric Ido (Europapremiere) – A mysterious cosmic event upsets the Earth’s gravity and creates chaos in a futuristic Parisian suburb.

Brutal Moods, Spanien 2022, Marta Bisbal Torres (Deutschlandpremiere) – Nichts gefunden, nicht einmal die Regisseurin. – Danke Manfred (siehe Kommentare) für die weiterführenden Infos. Aberrance, Mongolei 2022, Baatar Batsukh (Internationale Premiere) – Horror, Thriller – When city dwellers Erkhmee and Selenge arrive at an old cabin deep in the Mongolian wilds, a foreboding settles over the couple. Erkhmee’s seemingly keen desire to provide a safe and nurturing space for his artistic wife is at odds with the violent actions and mannerisms their quizzical neighbor observes. As the neighbor digs deeper for the reason behind this aberrant behavior, only more questions and trouble arise.
